Named after Itzamná, the revered god of the cosmos and creation, the Itza fabric embodies the essence of divine structure and universal connection.

Crafted on the oldest loom, the backstrap loom, that is worn around the weavers' waists, a practice that dates back over 6,000 years and which is carbon neutral.

ABOUT THE ARTISAN


Made by an all women collective who work on backstrap looms in the mountains of Chiapas, Mexico. We partnered with this collective after visiting San Andres, a village famous for it’s intricate brocade designs and colour. Needless to say, we were not disappointed!
