Nurturing economic stability within artisan communities
Creating beautiful textiles using the traditional flying shuttle loom. We formed our relationship here through a Non Profit Organisation who dedicate their time to nurturing economic stability within artisan communities.
Situated in the mountain tops of San Andres, amongst the sound of birds singing and fresh mountain air, this collective employs people from the local area and uses 19 wooden framed pedal looms and 100% cotton threads to create beautiful hand woven textiles. This cooperative also initiates training programmes to develop their skills.
